What I've Been Up To...

So, I logged in yesterday to realize that I took the entire month of April off from posting. Bad blogger! Bad! To explain myself, it is best if I post WHY I took April off. Hmm...where do I begin.

For starters, I was taking one of the hardest classes I have ever taken in my life....Managerial Econimics. This class alone sucked the very life out of my for 7 full weeks. Just ask my husband. However, he and I are no longer talking, for one week, because I just found out I got and A-. Yay!!!!

Next, I was helping a dear friend and fellow blogger of mine, Jaime Carter (now Dray) plan and coordinate her wedding. It was a beautiful Friday evening wedding. The bride and groom have so many blessed memories to share from that evening, and I was happy to be a part of that. I'm sure Jaime will blog about the wedding as soon as she is back from her honeymoon in Mexico. :)

I also had a plethora of alterations to do, and I'm still not finished with them. I've even had to turn some down. Most of them are due this month, and I hope to have them all finished by June because .....

I also close on my brand new house in early June!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am officially, well almost officially, a homeowner. My hubby and I took the plunge and I can't wait to start decorating!!! It is a beautiful little home with lots of charm. It won't be long before I'm posting about all the sewing projects that I will be doing for it. In the meantime, here are a few peeks at what is soon to become The Simovski Home. Stay tuned!
