So, remember when I told you about the pet clothes I was going to attempt to make? Well here they are! My precious George had no choice to model them for us. The Martha Stewart patterns worked great!
http://www.marthastewart.com/article/doggy-coats I did alter them a bit, and I had a hard time finding the oiled linen fabric they asked for. However, I simply made a coat with two layers of fleece. It doesn't make it waterproof, but it does make it warm.
The knitted sweater pattern was OK. Again, he really needs to grow into this one. Regardless, they were fun to make. I'll probably use them again to give him a variety of things to wear in the cold, rain, and soon to be snow. To receive this pattern, sign up at
